Monitoring & Targeting
4see’s site specific Energy Management Monitoring and Targeting regime has been designed to help with the measures to reduce a building/s carbon footprint, identified following an energy audit of a site. The recommendations from the energy audit are formulated within our M&T Report for energy efficiency and carbon reduction initiatives.
4see will develop a clear understanding of your current situation so you can really understand the potential for commercial paybacks through investment. We’ll help you measure the size of your carbon footprint now and work with you to monitor improvements.
As technologies, legislation and commercial imperatives change and your employees come and go, we can help you review and refresh your action plan so that energy management stays high on your operational agenda.
Our in house resource analyse existing energy data and propose recommendations leading to energy and cost saving measures. Our energy solutions package is based around traditional methods of consumption saving and renewable energies, ensuring carbon compliance is met.
On-going technical support by our team of technically qualified and competent staff will ensure that measures are put in place so that only the energy required is used with no unnecessary waste. By ensuring a buildings HVAC plant and equipment is maintained at optimum levels the life expectancy of the plant is enhanced, thus offering further cost saving initiatives for your buildings.
The M&T service consists of site visits (number of site visits per annum to be determined prior to commencement of service) whereby 4see meet with the relevant site team (Building Manager, Property Manager etc) to discuss the recommendations and actions identified. Observations, including recommendations from the original energy audit relating to specific operation and energy management activities at this property are incorporated into the report for review and action. Each month we analyse electricity, gas and water consumption and CO2 data to both track and demonstrate savings and to identify and rectify any anomalies in consumption. Daily half hour electricity, gas, water and waste data (as appropriate) is collected and analysed and are represented within the body of the report.
Consumption and cost savings of between 15% & 30% are frequently identified and achievable (generally within a maximum 3-4 year payback if capital expenditure is required). No and low cost savings are generally in the region of 10% - 15% with paybacks of less than 12 months.
